Burger King Trying Out Bacon Sundae
They're trying really, really hard to get you to like them
Jack in the Box made a splash with a bacon shake in February, so it makes sense that Burger King, with all their menu upgrades, is following suit.
Word on the street is that the third-largest chain is testing a bacon sundae, and from what it looks like, it will include soft serve, caramel, chocolate, bacon bits, and a strip of bacon for garnish. It probably won't be as pretty as the picture (fast-food dishes rarely are), but at least they're advertising using real bacon — the Jack in the Box shakes only had bacon-flavored syrup.
Eater reports that this trendy dessert is being tested in Nashville, Tenn., where it's selling for $2.49.
