Foursquare Tips

  • Ride your shopping cart down the long ramp to the 1st floor parking level. Weeeeee!
  • You don't need a Costco card to buy liquor. CA Law prohibits charging a membership for the purchase of liquor.
  • Try the Gelato - #Gelato at #Costco 3 scoops for $1.50
  • Huge packs of tampons!!!
  • Best place for tires
  • One of the best places to grab a free, multi-course lunch (in other words, samples galore!)
  • Only the sedated survive Costco.
  • Don't fight these idiots! Park on the roof!
  • get a hot dog and coke for a buck fifty. tastes good and easy on the wallet after an hour of shopping!
  • If you are like me and don't own a car, you can rent one for a few hours using the getaround app. Much lighter on the wallet than getting a taxi.
  • They serve gelato in the food court. $3.50 for 3 scoops in a waffle come, what whaaaat?!
  • Avoid Costco on the weekends if you can! It's crazy-crowded on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Avoid Fridays and days before a holiday like 'The Plague.'
  • You can't beat the $1.50 hot dog and soda deal. Also, don't be in a hurry as it's pretty much always slammed.
  • Hot dog with mustard and ground onion is key. Purchasing at the regular check-out and picking it up doesn't save you as much time as you'd think, especially for the gelato
  • don't come here mid- day on Saturday -- busy!!!
  • Fresh poke sold all day in the refrigerated section by the fish, Thursday thru Saturday.
  • You don't need membership to purchase booze
  • The food court gets packed in the afternoon. They only have a few tables so secure a spot before ordering. Be friendly and share a table :)
  • The Mos Eisley cantina of SF.
