Homemade truffles are easy; just make a thick ganache by melting chocolate in heated heavy cream (you can even add a little butter if you’d like to make them extra creamy), cool the ganache, and then roll it into balls. Make your truffles even better by replacing part of the heavy cream with eggnog. Click here for a basic truffle recipe.
Why dip bread into buttermilk for French toast when there’s extra eggnog? Click here for a basic French toast recipe.
Tres Leches Cake
Give this delicious cream-soaked cake a festive spin by replacing the half-and-half in the recipe with, you guessed it, eggnog. Click here for a basic Tres Leches Cake Recipe.
Quick and Easy Pancakes
All you need is three ingredients to make delicious, Christmas-morning eggnog pancakes. Click here to find out more.
Prefer waffles to pancakes? Mix a box of store-bought waffle mix according to the package instructions, but, instead of using water or milk as your liquid, use eggnog. Add an extra pinch of nutmeg to the batter for even more flavor.
