Cooking Hack: Prevent A Soggy Sandwich

Nothing is worse than reaching your hand into the brown bagged lunch you carefully packed just hours before to find a soggy, unappetizing version of that pastrami on rye or roasted turkey sandwich you were looking forward to eating. Luckily, Brian Sheehan, host of The Daily Meal Video Network, has a solution that will keep your sandwich fresh throughout the day.

Simply take three sections of paper towels, place your sandwich in the center, and fold the towels around the sandwich, covering it completely. Once the sandwich is wrapped in the moisture-wicking paper towels, add another layer of protection by placing the sandwich in a sealable plastic sandwich bag. Then secure the seal and remove as much air as possible without squishing the sandwich.

Now, when you place your sandwich in your lunch bag, the condensation from a cold drink won't ruin your meal. Use this simple tip and banish soggy sandwiches from your life forever.
