If you need a healthy midday snack, try one of these trail mix treats.

Chocolate Bark

All you have to do to make delicious sweet and salty chocolate bark is melt chocolate (keep it healthy by using dark chocolate with 70 percent cacao or higher), pour it out onto a piece of waxed paper, and then sprinkle it with trail mix. When the chocolate sets, break the bark into smaller pieces.

Cookies

Whoever said cookies couldn't be healthy didn't know about these soft and chewy treats. Make them even healthier by using whole-wheat flour and dark chocolate chips.

Granola Bars
