Staff writer Emma Laperruque was inspired to make this sandwich by the spring 2013 issue of Culture Magazine: The Word on Cheese which featured a grilled cheese sandwich that may have given some readers pause for its seemingly errant placement of cheese: on the outside of the bread. But, it's twice as good as a regular grilled cheese. Why? It's quite simple. As Laperruque puts it, it's grilled cheese "with twice the cheese."
