Foursquare Tips

  • Go down to the viewing area in front of Cliff House. There are fantastic vantages of the ocean, the beach, as well as some interesting rock formations.
  • Dont leave without checking out the restaurants world-famous camera obscura (one of about 20 in existence), with 360 degrees of live images projected from a nearby seal rock.
  • I come here for the amazing bread & butter... oh, and the view too. =)
  • $3 Moonlight Martinis featuring Skyy Vodka and Tanqueray Gin. This deal runs Sunday Thursday, 6pm-9pm. Tuesdays feature a Wine Lovers promotion, half priced bottles of wine all day long.
  • Come here for sunset. Amazing.
  • Dont leave without checking out the giant camera obscura downstairs and outside. You can see 360 degrees of spectacular live images of the Seal Rock Area and Ocean Beach.Powered by ParentsConnect.c
  • See the beautiful renovation and views! If you're motivated you can launch a hike up into Land's End Trail from here. Otherwise have a cocktail and then stroll down the beach to see the kites.
  • Spectacular view of the ocean!
  • Travel back in time 15 years or so and visit the Cliff House when it was a quirky, fun and exciting place for the whole family rather than a bland architecturally antiseptic yuppie snob mecca.
  • I want to try their Sunday brunch one of these days.
  • The food and drinks here are nothing extraordinary, but it's one of the city's best spots to sit for an hour or two, watching the sunset and the tides change.
  • Cut your burgers in half and make sure it is fully cooked. I left mine behind with raw meat. May be the last time there. The blue sapphire martini was good however.
  • Best place to have a cocktail and appetizer with a Pacific Ocean view.
  • Come find me and say hi!
  • Sitin the new part. Beautiful space and beautiful views.
  • Das Cliff House liegt atemberaubend direkt am Pazifik. Der Blick ist sensationell, unbedingt ein Fensterplatz bestellen. Der Service ist eher mittel, das Essen sehr lecker, allerdings auch teuer.
  • This place has been around forever and the location is simply breathtaking.
  • The view and beef carpaccio
  • The view is really just excellent. Great place to grab lunch before hiking around lands end or heading over to the Palace of Fine Arts.
