Foursquare Tips

  • Belgian fries are really thick fries. Get them.
  • Try The High and The Valley, it's the deal.
  • Chuck's serves half a pound of ground chuck, flat-top seared and available with a wide variety of toppings. If you like a thick, juicy hamburger, then you'll probably be a fan of this place.
  • The Dark Chocolate Cake shake is incredible!
  • Dyson Airblade!
  • The dirty south burger is a sophisticated take on a classic Carolina burger. Get it with frites + roasted garlic aioli! Yum!
  • Best burger in Raleigh. You can order non-gourmet burgers, if you're overwhelmed or a bitch. Avoid the specials; they're hit and miss. The Knife&Fork Fries are too heavy and not worth the added cost.
  • Comeback sauce
  • You can order a milkshake spiked with vodka, dark rum, or bourbon.
  • Burgers are huge and fantastic. Really worth the price.
  • You can't go wrong with the "last word"
  • Awesome burgers! Try the Bear in Heaven for a more classic burger feel. Also my bf loves the Aviator Draft Root Beer!
  • Try the Dirty South burger and a spiked milkshake.
  • Best Burger, FF, and milkshake in town!
  • Whatever one orders, don't miss out on a milkshake. The salty peanut butter with roasted banana shake is great, but with a shot of Gosling's dark rum added it's reason alone to visit!
  • Try out all the different sauces!
  • Get the 5oz burger because it's just the right about of burger to eat. Don't listen to the negative nancy tips-this place is awesome!
  • Not the best burgers in town. Small portions of fries for the price. And it is a wonderbread roll which is disappointing when they advertise a potato roll. I won't be back.
  • Trying the Espelette Aioli with handcut fries.....
  • The big house is a religious experience.
