Breakups happen, sometimes whether we want them to or not. Recent breakups from Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus to Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas taught us something  about dealing with breakups: you have to move on. Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus recently ended their year-long engagement, according to TMZ. Although their relationship seemed picture perfect in the beginning, from the cheating rumors to Miley unfollowing Liam on Twitter, we all saw the breakup coming. Miley Cyrus is twerking her way to happiness, while Liam Hemsworth was seen partying in Vegas and was not afraid to show he moved on with a new girl, according to Daily Mail. On the other hand, Michael Douglas has yet to show he has moved on from his thirteen year marriage to Catherine Zeta Jones. According to Huffington Post, he has been seen wearing his wedding ring.

Host a Dinner Party
We’ve all seen on television or movies, the act of eating feeling away with filthy amounts of junk food. But don’t do it! Stay away from the Ben & Jerry’s, that extra slice of pizza, or ordering a Big-Mac. Instead opt for other options such as hosting a dinner party! From creating center pieces to baking You’ll be busy distracted with the event planning and look forward to doing something on your own.

Get Out of the House
Go for a night out with your friends. You’ll be easily distracted by the company and great food and drink. Go look up what’s best to drink and eat in your city. Venture out to new places! If you have time, make it a trip. A spa always helps ease the pain.

Take Time for YOU
Try new things every day. Yes, as cliche as that sounds, it’s true! Now you have time to do the things you couldn’t before. You can replace all those picture frames and gifts the ex got you with easy DIY ideas. Begin decorating for parties or start getting ready for the holidays. Take on baking projects or go ahead and organize your pantries. Make your home more about you.
