  • Pork shoulder is nothing special but if you're looking for something meaty, it's a good choice.
  • For a post breakup treat grab a cup of coffee and 6 orders of beignets. You'll forget his name after the sugar coma. Don't forget to bring his credit card with you
  • You'll lick your plate after eating the shrimp and grits. Must have for brunch.
  • Beignets at Carriage House is so good it'll make you slap your mama. Comes with coffee/chocolate fudge for dipping. Mmmmmm!!! 4 for $8.
  • Carriage House has brought thoughtful Southern cuisine, and cocktails, to the Division Street bar scene. Stop in anytime now that they've begun brunch and lunch service. [Eater 38 Member]
  • We had a mix of the small plates and everything was a hit (Mushroom Truffle Egg, Oyster Bake, Chicken Thighs). This place manages to pull off mixing a combination Southern and Chicago aesthetic.
  • You must try the corn beard as an appetizer. Once you devour that try the fried green tomatoes!! EXCELLENT
  • We were quoted an hour wait for two but waited 15 min before snagging a seat at the bar. Full menu and service so it's a great option
  • Love th low country boil, corn bread skillet, and "red neck arancini"
  • Best southern food in Chicago
  • Food was very good, coffee was absolutely delicious.
  • Good food but very slow service!
  • If you want something decadent but light, get the French press coffee $5 and an order of beignets $8. Coffee is EXCELLENT!
  • The best coffee ever!
  • The Bitches say B. A gorgeous ambiance and interesting menu choices, but in the end many of the dishes were too smoky and overwhelming for our brunch palate.
  • Love the shrimp + grits.
  • Pork shoulder is amazing. Chicken and biscuit is a huge portion and the shrimp and grits is a classic
  • Lugar de alitas y pollo frito y cocina del sur
  • Carriage House manages to inject appreciated peculiarities into Carolinan cooking at dinner and, sustains a hearty and homey brunch. Try their delicious Fried Chicken Biscuit sandwich.
  • Great down-home food
