Foursquare Tips

  • The menu covers classics like smothered & fried pork chops, fried chicken & brisket/pork/links platters alongside some more conventional staples like ribeye & whole snapper.
  • Manhattanites can indulge in the flavors of that faraway land south of the Mason-Dixon, sampling dishes like fried chicken and smothered and fried Heritage pork chops in red eye gravy.
  • $5 for unlimited mimosa's with brunch is a steal! They're good with refilling too.
  • BBQ platter + a Sixpoint = the only way to go. Also, on a recent visit they played an R. Kelly CD (Down Low, Fiesta, Ignition, Bump and Grind...), making this one of my new favorite places.
  • This is the best Southern Food I've had in Manhattan by FAR. $5 Bottomless mimosas. Awesome Chicken and Biscuits. Awesome Sausage Gravy. Amazing Bloody Mary. Run.
  • Mashed potatoes. Sooo good.
  • Check out the badass transformers pinball machine downstairs.
  • In a world full of mediocre pancakes, the sweet potato stack stands well above the rest. Not to be missed!!
  • Great place for brunch! The pancakes are excellent
  • Don't listen to Erin. The bucket of fried chicken is the way to go. Plus a six point. She was right about that.
  • Maybe the best breakfast place in Manhattan. Never had better pancakes, great biscuits, bacon, and grits. And they take Amex now!
  • The BBQ plate is perfect for 2 ppl if u get one extra side. Ribs are spicy!!
  • Gave my friend a moldy burger bun. Twice....
  • Good, bit not as good as bob white. Sorry, I do love you, but bob has my heart
  • Go ahead and be that asshole that takes photos of the most delicious fried chicken, biscuits and gravy you've ever had - you'll surely be dead after you consume that many calories anyway.
  • If you're grabbing dinner, order the BBQ platter, have a friend get the fried chicken, and split (you each get 2 sides!). Who says you can't have it all?
  • The Fried Chicken Biscuit is unreal. Even better with hot sauce.
  • $5 all you can drink mimosas with brunch - awesome.
  • It's not on the menu, but you can order bone marrow!
  • Pancakes or fried chicken for brunch. Always seems to have a table for 2 available
