BuzzFeed Ruins Everything, Proves Sugar Is Everywhere

Consider our minds blown: BuzzFeed has tracked down how much sugar is in popular items like baked beans, muesli, Froot Loops, cans of Coca-Cola, Pop-Tarts, Clif Bars, Frappuccinos, Snickers, and more, and all of them have much more sugar than we expected.

A McChicken? It has 5 grams of sugar, but a Hot 'N Spicy McChicken has 17 grams more than that. A Coca-Cola? Thirty-nine grams. Orange juice, however, has 43 grams, while Monster has 54 grams. So Coke has less sugar than bottled orange juice? Great.

Even "healthy" cereal has more sugar than Froot Loops, with muesli clocking in at 42 grams compared to 24 grams. But of course, none of this takes into consideration artificial sweeteners that are used to make products seem healthier, or even the preservatives and chemicals in Pop-Tarts, Fruit Loops, and Coca-Cola. Yes, bottled orange juice does suck, but we'll take fresh-squeezed any day. Monster, however, has no comeback.
