Budweiser Super Bowl AD mocks Craft Beer Drinkers

Budweiser’s tone deaf Super Bowl AD Spot that makes fun of Craft Beer Drinkers is riling people up after their recent craft beer acquisitions. Instead of just promoting the macro brand with puppies and the Bud horses like their earlier AD this one takes a pot shot at beer snobs and a fictional “Pumpkin Peach” beer that turns out Elysian Brewing brewed one of last year. This left Elysian brewer Steve Luke who created said beer commenting on Facebook “Funny thing is, I brewed a Pumpkin Peach Ale last October…Oh, AB-Inbev, you clunky, clueless moron…”

Talk about bad timing since Budweiser/InBev just purchased Elysian Brewing and now they are making fun of us and our beers. And I still wonder why some people just don’t get the backlash against the big guys and the buyouts?
