Foursquare Tips

  • Despite its name, BD is far from any old diner, as it includes raw bar offerings like oyster- & snow crab-loaded seafood towers and specials like roasted duck breast w/ applesauce.
  • Though it doesnt always succeed at either, Bowery Diners menu aspires to satisfy adult cravings as well as childhood ones. When in doubt, order one of their creamy milkshakes.
  • The Bowery Diner serves breakfast until 5 p.m., dishing morning staples like omelettes, granola and Belgian wafflesserved with not-so-standard bacon, frozen custard and chocolate sauce.
  • The Bowery Diner does mid-20th century Americana on creatine with all the finery you'd expect (big ole burgundy booths, stainless paneling, concrete floor, dessert case).
  • Wifi is pancakes.
  • Friendly service! :-)
  • Come for the Mac & Cheese! Stay for the Steve Earle one table over!
  • The ten dollar spiked milkshakes are worth every penny. Chocolate mousse cake and peanut butter with Maker's, can't go wrong.
  • don't come here. C- experience
  • The salmon LEGGS Benedict are to die for! #shitZombiesSay
  • The bacon here is amazing. If you don't like it or "only eat turkey bacon", you have no soul.
  • If you are going to schlep all the way to the Bowery you should be getting Chinese food. This place is subpar and the chocolate bacon waffles aren't all that great
  • Village Voice is excited to have The Bowery Diner at the 2012 ChoiceEats food fest! Full list of restaurants here: http://ow.ly/8QjDQ
  • Most things are not especially good here but the steak salad is great. Good steak, spicy.
  • Terrible service, mediocre food and overpriced. Never again!
  • @bartrendinginc follow when in #jersey ! We love this spot :-)
  • Upscale diner with a great reuben and some very nice boozy milkshakes.
  • Bowery Special
  • Damn good coffee and donuts.
  • Burgers are good but go w/fries option - the greens are literally just a few lettuce leaves
