Boston's Fork Lift Food Fest Coming To City Hall Plaza

This year, for the first time ever, Boston will be putting on a week- long arts festival bringing all forms of art together right in the very heart of the city and Government Center.  Beginning July 13^th and ending July 21^st, Outside The Box will showcase performers from art institutions all over the city.

But art is not the only thing that this festival will be featuring: in fact, from the 18^th to the 21^st, a whole slew of Boston's favorite chefs will form a festival of their own: Fork Lift Food Fest.  Think of this as a festival within a festival, and one that will bring together art and food communities in Boston.  City Hall Plaza will be transformed into a complete food experience with tasting booths, cooking demonstrations and chef signings.  Expect renowned chefs like Chef Jody Adams, Chef Gordon Hamersley, Chef Jeremy Sewall and Chef Ming Tsai. 

For the four days of this event, general admission is free, but you will want to purchase tasting tickets, available at numerous kiosks at City Hall Plaza.  Booths will be open from 11 am to 9 pm, Thursday through Saturday and Sunday from 11-5.  Wine and Beer will also be available at the Beer and Wine Emporium (21+).
