East Arlington’s Barismo is adding outdoor seating to the favorite coffee shop’s space! Back in December, the coffee shop expanded to its current, larger, location. That addition allowed customers to be able to sit and enjoy coffee indoors. But now they can enjoy it outdoors too!

Outside on the sidewalk (they wanted it to have a café feel) there will be 11 feet of the 15-foot sidewalk occupied by Barismo’s seating. Several tables, benches, and even planters will now exist.

“I think this will be a great addition to the neighborhood,” said the shop’s manager to the Board of Selectmen this week.

The Boston shop knows coffee. They brew on site and are known for their full-bodied espressos, drip brews, and milk steaming perfection. The coffee roaster also has treats and an array of unique drinks. The local shop sources exotic beans, and even sells wholesale and offers equipment and classes. It should be nice to enjoy the coffee even more outside in the summer heat.
