  • Go get some coffee and watch the Web 2.0 nerds hang out on stoops at the alley next to 330 Ritch.
  • Back alley coffee kiosk. Good choice for afternoon lattes.
  • Can someone please tell me if I'm supposed to pay when I order my coffee or pay when I get my coffee? Always awkward.
  • Sketchy alley coffee shop. Super nice baristas. Cash only.
  • Pour over drip coffee!
  • While the baristas here tend to be less friendly and talkative than folks at other shops, they make excellent espresso drinks and their prices are affordable compared to other places.
  • uh, it's pronounced "CH-ento", you simpletons!
  • Bring cash. Otherwise, you're the guy everyone hates who holds up the line and the building is the size of "very small", so.
  • They have the BEST foam EVER and serve Blue Bottle! I get coffe about twice a day there, one of the best places in SOMA. Their staff also rocks!

  • Cash only! Small, easy-to-miss shop in a back alley, serving up good pastries and espresso.
  • OMG BEST COFFEE SHOP IN THE CITY
  • Fresh baked croissants every morning! Get 'em while you can!
  • If you don't need something to go get the macchiato. Cento bars are good too.
  • Try Cento coffee. Tastes great and is served in a nice glass.
  • Get the "Cento": it's their version of a Gibraltar served in a highball glass.
  • Heavy hitter. Ice coffee (chicory) + a shot. They ring the bell! They may card you if you order this
  • Try the Centini and spot it on Foodspotting
  • One of these days, they'll figure out the whole taking-orders-taking-money thing.
