You might not think the pairing of rum and ginger ale would make for a great holiday cocktail — but it does, and it's delicious.
Pour rum into a rocks glass with ice, top with ginger ale and bitters, and garnish with a lime wedge.
Staples of Asian cuisine such as ginger, daikon, rice vinegar, and spicy chile sauces like Sriracha add bright, fresh flavors without lots of fuss.
Sriracha has good heat but also has flavor - its mild sweetness comes from sun-ripened chile peppers as well as sugar and garlic.
