Foursquare Tips

  • This place is douche central. Complete with white guy bartender who thinks he's Asian wearing a topknot. He had a meltdown right in front of customers. And the layout is a death trap/fire hazard.
  • Service fantastique on a Monday Night.
  • I'm addicted to Old Fashioned's because of this place. Ask Mustachio to make you a Ramos Gin Fizz, when his anger dissipates, settle for Montreal's best Old Fashioned.
  • Ce lieu est un bar et non le resto, mme proprio, emplacements diffrents ! /// Don't confuse this is the bar and not the restaurant, same owner, differents locations !
  • Un bar cach la James Bond
  • Most beautiful bar in town. Great cocktails great music great style. Relax.
  • If you plan on going with a large group (6 or more), avoid late weekend nights. When you'll make it in, you'll be hard-pressed to find seating for all, together. It's great for 2 or 3, though
  • Beautiful, modern bar with a speakeasy vibe and lots of great small touches that make it the perfect place to drink the night away.
  • One of few places in the city to have Lilet, don't pass up the opportunity to have a Vesper Martini
  • best kept secret in montreal. Most japonaise bar in town. vast selection of saks. japonese whisky is a must
  • Get the Bourbon punch!
  • Beau p'tit bar ! N'oubliez pas l'entre est par la porte rouge sur St-Laurent /// Nice little bar ! Don't forget to enter by the red door on St-Laurent !
  • Great staff and ambience
  • Awesome for dates. Not for groups. Umeshu is the #1 choice. Then cocktails.
  • Redrums are the way to go
  • The music is insanely good
  • Not to be mistaken for the restaurant that goes by the same name, Big in Japan is a dark, mysterious bar dimly lit with candles. They specialize in whisky and also serve Japanese pub fare.
  • viter ! Malgr un cadre trs sympa, la serveuse vous balance les cartes sur la table sans dire bonjour, et les cocktails sont plus que dilus si bien qu'on ne sent mme pas l'alcool.
  • Aka first date spot
  • Probably the only speakeasy in Montreal that lives up to its name. Great old fashioned.
