Summer is here, and it's the summer of beer for the good people of San Diego, Calif. UT San Diego has rounded up the best brew festivals and events of summer 2013; here's our picks: 

June 21-23: San Diego International Beer Festival

The all-you-can-drink, ultimate beer festival for the city of San Diego; the beer festival pours more than 300 beers from the U.S., Spain, New Zeland, and more. $55, sdfair.com

July 6: San Diego Brew Fest

The third-annual beer festival raises money for the pet rescue group, Noah’s B-ark, with dozens of beers on tap. $40-$50, sandiegobeerfest.com

July 13: Breakwater Brewing's 5th Anniversary San Diego Beer Festival

To celebrate five years, Breakwater Brewing is hosting 20 breweries, five bands, and plenty of restaurants for the ultimate beach party/ beer festival. $30, breakwaterbrewing.com

August 16-17: Stone’s 17th Anniversary Festival

The largest brewery in Southern California, Stone Brewing hosts 40 breweries for the all-out festival. Friday night is the Brewer's Reception, Saturday is  a tasting of more than 100 beers. (Sadly, all-access pass and rare beer tickets are sold out.) $40-$75, stonebrew.com
