To cut down on time to make, I roast a bunch of chicken at once and then grab and reheat for meals throughout the week. If you are starting with raw chicken, then slice into bite sized strips and add to a hot saute pan to get it cooking prior to cooking the scallions.

When you want some good old fashioned stuffing to go with your chicken. Maybe not exactly the same thing but not bad. =) The melba toast (or Grissini breadsticks) are optional. You can also lay this on your allotted piece of protein (chicken would probably be preferable) and then roll up your chicken around it. Then bake. =)

Start the sauce the day before you intend on making the meatballs. This is a recipe that follows the guidelines for Phase 2 eating on the HcG diet. It takes a while, but it was VERY yummy! This recipe covers your vegetable, meat and bread (some versions of the HcG allow for an additional vegetable)

A quick, flavorful recipe I came up with that fits into the Dr. Simeons Hcg Protocol during VLCD phase. Add spices to taste. **Trimming the Asparagus: Just hold each end and snapping it - it will naturally break off the tough part. You keep the flower end for cooking (and should have nice longer spears). If you like, the "tough" ends can be kept to be used in vegetable stock or for other used later. Saw this on Cook Yourself thin!
