This is one of hubby's SPECIALTIES!! The first time I ever had scallops, I was 14 and went to Nova Scotia for a summer vacation. It was the first time I tried lobster and when I was asked if I'd like to try scallops I was TERRIBLY disappointed, guess they weren't cooked properly...over the years I kept trying them and still didn't like them until hubby made them at home and after trying them, I was HOOKED!

This recipe is from the R.S.V.P. section of an April 1982 issue of Bon Appetit magazine. It was requested from the Des Moines Golf and Country Club in Des Moines, Iowa. I like the fact that the scallops are oven-baked, not fried.
