Uncle Shuck's has long been a part of family traditions for Georgia families as it is a great place to pick out the very best pumpkin and weave through the maze. At night, the maze is haunted, offering an extra challenge for the guests (visitors under 12 must go with a parent). The maze has approximately four miles of trails, so you will find this one a real adventure. There are also exits along the route if you decide to throw in the towel. Tickets for the maze are $10.

The Buford Corn Maze is another family-friendly adventure that many families return to every year. Tickets are $14 for the maze, $14 for the haunted forest or $10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in October. You can purchase combination tickets for $22. The maze first opened in 2009, and it has been a great source of pride to the creators and the town every year since. There are also music concerts on site on the weekends.

Heading out to the Southern Belle Farm in McDonough is one way to guarantee that you will have a real, Southern corn maze experience. The cornfield on the farm is seven acres, and there are plenty of twists and turns to give you a real challenge. In the evening, you can use a flashlight to work your way through the maze in the dark. It's fun for families, couples, friends or even a great work outing.

Cagle's Family Farm is a great getaway in Canton, Georgia, an easy day trip from Atlanta. The farm has had a corn maze on site for 14 years, so it definitely knows how to make a great event for everyone to enjoy. Expect the maze to take about 45 minutes if you use the most direct route, or, more likely, around an hour if you take a few wrong turns. Of course, there is plenty of yummy food on site as well as a real fall bonfire to enjoy. Tickets for the maze are $10, and there are packages that also include the bonfire hayride, the haunted barn or the farm tour.
