Foursquare Tips

  • realize just how terrible this place is.
  • I just love this place my favorite bar in San Fran
  • This place is awful. Your typical dudes with bad pick-up lines and girls acting hotter than they are. Avoid this place if you have soul. Trust.
  • Swig is the oldest bar in the Bourbon & Branch portfolio, but worth another look thanks to a revamped interior, new emphasis on classic cocktails, and a deep whiskey selection that's one of the best.
  • Unicorns!
  • Music is too freaking loud, can't talk!
  • Hit it up on Sunday's. The door guy is amazing.
  • Solid whiskey selection, but the crowd is hit or miss. BYOG (bring your own group)
  • Very stylish spot. 250 whiskey selections. Fireplace and couches.
  • Don't let your friends take pics while you dance the night away
  • Go to Swig on a sunday night for an awesome blues jam, and check out the great dancers that turn up there. Dance with one and don't forget to tip the band.
  • Get a Sazerac! Well made here.
  • I love the lighting & atmosphere, service could be better
  • Check pout the specialty drinks on the board above the bar. Unique and worth trying.
  • Beautiful decor, very comfy, drinks are stiff and a mysterious vibe, that even the doorman hasn't been able to figure out.
  • Parking around here is a bitch.
  • Good music w plenty of throwbacks but too many creepers towards the end of the night
  • Probably the best music I've heard in a bar in the US. The Roots, Talib Kweli and Lauryn Hill - all amazing!
  • Strawberry cucumber drank for $9! We subbed the gin for vodka and it's delish!
  • Cool spot to swing to a old r&b singer that has the voice of aretha & the garb of a queen bothswana... She's been singing there for 18 yrs, while all the best local dancers play musical chairs partner
