Foursquare Tips

  • Cocktails are named for legends of the gamethe Earl Ball is made with Old Forester bourbon, fresh pineapple and lemon juice, ginger, and black-pepper syrup, and is as sweet as can be.
  • Joining the shuffleboard league is like joining heaven. Or perhaps the closest thing. I suppose.
  • Don't send a dead biscuit to the kitchen.
  • If tonight's soft open is any indication, shuffleboard league is gonna be so awesome.
  • If Wes Anderson made a movie about Florida, it would look like this.
  • I really want to like this place (spacious, good drinks) but the wait to play is absurd and 95% of the crowd just read the How to be a Hipster Manual.
  • Skip the wait by making a reservation in advance for a private cabana and court! $$$, but comes with unlimited drinks and really great service. Drinks are strong = Blackout. #nycadventures #brooklyn
  • Wanna go on a cruise? But can't afford it just yet? Look no further than The Royal Palms! You'll feel like you're whisked away even if for just an evening! #shuffleboard #bingo #flamingos #love
  • Take a selfie in the bathroom.
  • Watch a Wes Anderson flick before you come here.
  • Awesome spot for an outing w/ friends. You just need a group of 4 to play. Amazing cocktails, and a rotating food truck serving patrons daily
  • Great double date spot, who knew shuffleboard was so fun? And they have boozy cocktails and games while you wait
  • Surprisingly excellent cocktails. The Connect Four stations are a definite win.
  • I hear that guy Goeres who is a permanent fixture at the end of the bar is up to no good...
  • Step inside this landlocked cruise ship of a bar for a round of shuffleboard. Play a game at one of the 10 shuffleboard courts while sipping tiki cocktails, complete with the requisite tiny umbrellas.
  • Maybe the greatest bar in the world. Shuffleboard, board games, life size jenga, and awesome drinks. Plus you'll feel like you walked into a Wes Anderson movie.
  • This bar is my favorite in New York. It can be tough to get a shuffleboard but the staff is always super helpful. Plus, because of a fire marshal rule, it's never crowded even when at capacity.
  • Bet your friends to a round of Bimini Ring Game (left wall as you enter). Pro tip: don't swing your ring directly towards the hook, throw a touch left/right to swing in an arc for greater success.
  • Everyone taking about the multitude of games nobody talking about the Flamingo wallpaper in the bathrooms. #bathroomwallpapertips
  • Super cute place to hang out, with great cocktails. Check out the wallpaper in the bathroom. If you want to play shuffleboard get there early unless you're willing to wait a couple hours.
