Foursquare Tips

  • The Jeffrey Craft Beer & Bites is one of those places where even hard-core beer geeks may not know every offering on the draft list.
  • Patrick Donagher has done it again. 30 rotating tap lines at two bars, growler fills, well-executed food, and a big backyard. Grab an NY brew ($5 from 11-7) and marvel at the bad-ass draft system.
  • The draw? Real beer, like the rarely seen (in NYC) Maine Brewing Company's "Lunch" IPA, which generally put the neighborhood's comfortable pub drafts to shame. The snacks are simple (and satisfying).
  • Fantastic new beer bar on UES! Check out the mixology station and year around patio. Always a great selection as this is a sister bar of Alewife NYC.
  • Such a great addition to the area! Tons of beer!!! Also, the wine selection is pretty impressive. The bartenders are extremely nice as well. Best bonus? Free truffle popcorn. Def worth the trip.
  • Secret cocktail bar in the coffee area Thursday - Saturday
  • Get a cocktail at the growler bar, Jacob will make you your favorite cocktail you never knew you had!
  • New home of the best bar tending duo known as Marta & Val! Lots of wood.
  • The NY local brews are the best craft beer in NYC, making our list of "The Tastes That Make the City: NYC Edition."
  • Fantastic beer bar. Harder to get a bar seat here than Babbo. It smells like truffles inside :)
  • Try a Sixpoint Otis or Oskar Blues Old Chub from 4:20PM to 7PM, Sun -Thurs for only $5! Great deal.
  • IT'S OPEN!
  • A gem in the rough! AMAZING beer selection and great specialty cocktails too. A bit pricey, but well worth it!!
  • Absolute delicious rotation of craft beers. So just tell the staff what type of beer you like and they have it. They also have growlers. The staff is A+
  • Pretzel sucks. Rubenstein was good.
  • 11-3 (Mon-Thur?). they have a $10 sandwich & select beer special...possible the best lunch special on the east side. The select beers are special beers, like Barrier Brewing, too!
  • This newcomer has already become a destination-worthy spot for its better-than-average-pub grub, custom draught system, and fast-changing selection that goes well beyond the usual suspects.
  • The Jeffowitz sandwich will change your life.
  • Order the pickle jar!
  • They have connect 4 and operation. But only 1 game of each
