Foursquare Tips

  • First, to Laura D. who commented on this place before me, this neighborhood has had many thriving businesses here for decades. Please don't act like a yuppie. Second, Harlem Public is a great place.
  • Fully loaded grilled cheese. Contains guacamole, bacon, and mothereffin' DORITOS.
  • Located on a former skid row is this gem waiting to be discovered. Crowded, sexy and trendy. This bar style mimics Williamsburg hip. Who knew these folks lived around here? After 8 is a doorman???
  • Peanut butter burger = life changing.
  • Get the loaded grilled cheese. At first I was like, who puts guac and Doritos on a grilled cheese? Then after tasting it I realized the glorious minds at Harlem Public are genius. Best.sandwich.ever.
  • Yes Julian! Thank too for saying what we all know-Harlem is, has been, and will always be awesome!
  • Free popcorn, great craft beer, cute bartenders!!! A gem of west Harlem
  • Service is not so quick unless you're sitting at the bar. Make hawk eyes to the bartenders or you will never get a drink.
  • Bomb ass burgers and sexy staff. What's not to like?
  • Parmesan burger. Amazing.
  • Quite affordable, fantastic selections of food and drink.
  • Bartenders refill ur popcorn bowl without even asking. Win!
  • The BLT is a must, and don't miss the avocado fries.
  • Not a bad thing to say about this place. Super attentive servers, great craft beer selection, incredible burger (bonus points for adding swiss and brown sugar bacon), and a great neighborhood crowd.
  • Great mac and cheese, regular or with pull pork. Great crowd and the stuff is always nice. Viva harlem!
  • Amazing brunch... try the #EggsDeb and one of the Three Mary's. Didn't catch brunch? Try the Avocado Fries, Pork Belly Queso, or the Peanut Butter Burger with a nice, cold beer.
  • They don't have food yet -they haven't officially opened yet as of 9/25- but thank God there are businesses moving into the area! People are very nice too.
  • Riazul Tequila is the way to go. Second round goes to Primo Vodka.
  • All throughout Sandy HP was open and running. Great place. Their kitchen was down cuz of the storm but they served yummy popcorn regardless. Come here!
  • The chicken bites and avocado fries are amazing! Beers on tap - and best tater tots
