Foursquare Tips

  • My favorite bar in NYC. Very dark, woody, and pub-ish; booths with swing-closed doors, antlers abound, and a fireplace to boot. You'll love it here in the winter.
  • Pickles!!!!
  • Those cozy booths are among the best bar real estate in all of NYC. Perfect for dates. Plus, reading their awesome sidewalk signs is among the best things about walking in Greenpoint.
  • Frito pie! Unfortunately the kitchen closes at 10pm sharp so be on your game.
  • Oh wow the mini burgers!
  • Try ordering a shim-sham. See what happens.
  • When Kent is there, talk hot obscure bands. When Dennis is there, talk politics and movies. In either mode, you'll learn something.
  • Super cozy bar with nice, attentive bartenders. A great place to spend quality time w/ one or a few friends.
  • Trivia! Easy to get to by bike.
  • It's odd and has cheap pickle bavks
  • Best bar in Greenpoint during the winter. Come in and knock the snow off your feet, grab a Black Rabbit, and sit by the fire.
  • Cool space. Cool crowd. Nice vibe. Pet friendly. Kid friendly. I don't have kids but I'll bring my cat on a leash.
  • Walk straight through the dark bar to a beautiful backyard
  • Real ginger in everything
  • Cool one. Ha ha ha
  • Can't beat this old-fashioned style pub.. Get a booth and hole up for trivia night or play some board games.
  • The best Welsh bar in a Polish / Hipster area I can think of. Occasionally you'll see a notable comedian or two. Get there early for a booth, or stand & awkwardly move out of people's way all night.
  • The bartenders are awesome. Drink up and Drinkopoly out!
  • The black rabbit beer is both dark yet light. Suits the theme of the bar #Isuppose
  • House beer for $3 on Mondays
