Foursquare Tips

  • Portland Trail Blazers and Timbers games are fun here at the back stage!!!
  • Gorgeous location, shitty everything else.
  • It's a McMenamin's so don't be shocked by the less-than-friendly staff and lackluster food. The only saving grace here is the fact that it's usually pretty dead and thus, conversation friendly.
  • This location, like most locations have way more Foursquare tips, than Waitstaff tips.
  • This place has the largest bar tv in Portland. Movies, sports on the back wall
  • I've recommended this before, one of my favorite bars in Portland. 80 foot ceilings, pool tables, elegant bar, fast friendly service. Love.
  • Back Stage behind the Bagdad is an awesome pool room with an 80 foot ceiling and vintage backdrop of the Taj Mahal. Two private rooms upstairs. Hands down my fave pool hall in PDX.
  • Make sure to step in, take a good long look around and UP from the middle of the room. Make your way upstairs to appreciate the alcoves and views of this space.
  • Beautiful space, two story TV and all the McMennamins beer and food locals love.
  • The atmosphere here is very good as well as the drinks. Try a Greyhound here--they fresh squeeze the grapefruits for each drink.
  • Worth walking into just to see the beautiful space.
  • I've never been to a McMenamins where the staff didn't look suicidal
  • Shuffle board.
  • One of the best spots for shuffleboard and pool in the area.
  • Crazy tall ceilings, historic decor, not your typical McMenamin's. Thursdays are Eye Candy video DJs and neighborhood employees get $3 wells until midnight
  • Absolutely gorgeous interior and ambiance, never seen anything like it before. Love the shuffleboard too ;)
  • This used to be the actual backstage of the theater where a dude allegedly hung himself back in the day. Soak it in.
  • the ceilings are epic
  • One of Portland's best kept secrets. So far.
  • Get the Gray Hound!
