Foursquare Tips

  • Wood-fired Neapolitan-esque pies worth a visit from beyond the neighborhood.
  • Solid wood-fired-oven pizza from an alumnus of Paulie Gee's. Clam pie is very good. Get it. And is this weird, but the Bibb salad is nice, too.
  • Sitting in the back patio at night is one of the more pleasant experiences in New York. Fantastic Neapolitan pizzas and the Piazza cocktail is summer in a glass.
  • Ask for the spicy honey to dip your pizza crust in an you MUST finish with a Nutella Calzone with expresso gelato. Will blow your mind.
  • Oh my goodness. This is good pizza. Best pizza in the neighborhood, even. Start with the excellent margherita and explore the menu from there.
  • Ask for chili oil to dip your crust. Get the pepper appetizer and add the burrata! It's not on the menu but save room for dessert and ask for a limoncello to pour over vanilla gelato - amazing!
  • Best Margarita slice ever. I'd take a picture but we inhaled it.
  • Delicious artisan style pizza. Sit at the bar.
  • One glass of wine actually equals 3. Bang for your buck if you want to get drunk fast.
  • Cozy, romantic space with extremely friendly servers and spectacular food. Perfect for sharing. The arugula pizza - do it!!!
  • Food is incredible and service is great. Wonderful Franklin ave find with a little swankier atmosphere. The arugula pizza and Bibb salad (wine) were excellente.
  • I shared 2 pizzas with two friends. The meatball pizza didn't have a lot of meat but still very tasty as was the nepotaliano four cheese pizza. This place is a restaurant/bar, no hole in the wall.
  • Four cheese and pepperoni drizzled with a locally made honey is delicious. Neapolitan Meatball is yummy. Lunchbox cocktail is interesting in a good way. Service and atmosphere were phenomenal.
  • This place is huge, plus they have a garden in back. Amazing food and there's almost never a wait. Not an easy thing to find these days.
  • Late night happy hour (11pm-1am) gets you $2 off beers + their outstanding cocktails {no better deal in this neighborhood than their Manhattan or Sazarac}
  • We don't have Paulie Gee's of Greenpoint, but we have the next best thing. Must-share pies include the meatball, arugula, and four cheese pizzas, but I highly suggest asking about the calzones too!
  • Those are some tasty meatballs.
  • They manage to bring the pizza out very soon after your order is placed. Keep that up! Slightly overwhelming amount of pork items on the menu than I'd like to see but lovely service excuses that :)
  • Arugula pizza with prosciutto, FTW! Hot damn! No liquor license as of 10/10/11, but apparently it's coming soon. Also, great job on the old-made-new interior!
  • We ordered six pizzas and the four cheese pepperoni and the margarita were unanimously the favorites.
