For Imported German Brewskies

This tried and true beer garden has been in continuous operation since 1866, making it one of the oldest bars in Austin. Order a pitcher of any of the rotating imported German brews on tap and venture out onto the expansive outdoor garden to enjoy it.

As if Austinites needed an excuse to hang outdoors and drink, Mohawk makes the practice even more alluring with its killer roster of live shows, strong pours, and an all-around good-times party vibe.

This Austin classic started with one piano in '92 and, in true Texan fashion, soon went bigger with a second one. Footstomping, cheering, singing along, and lots of drinking are the keys to making even the most shy and cranky patrons belt out classic hits and join in on the fun.

Rebels is good old-fashioned honky tonk bar in the truest sense — from the country hits blaring through the speakers to the mechanical bull. Put on your cowboy hat and hit the dance floor, drink in hand. (Maybe even try the bull, if you dare.)
