While we love summer, we must admit we’re glad fall is here. There’s something about the season that just speaks to us (maybe it’s all of the delicious root vegetables). In honor of fall’s arrival, we’re sharing a delicious recipe, prepared by the culinary team at Plated.

Baked Apple Chips
Ingredients
  • 2 gala apples
  • ¼ teaspoon ground coriander
  • ¼ cup finely grated white cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  2. Halve apples and remove cores and stems. Thinly slice using a mandoline.
  3. On a baking sheet toss the apples with olive oil, and coriander, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and bake until crisp, about 15 minutes more.
