Foursquare Tips

  • A straight blast from the past in Queens! A trip to the Astor Room will take you back to the 40's.
  • Kumamoto oysters. Yummy and queens road. Best night.
  • Wow. That Beef Stroganoff did not need to come with a knife at all. Super tender. Oysters we're legit, French onion soup was cheesy, and the bread pudding was lovely. Love the retro feel of it all!
  • Sit at the bar mike is great and ask for the chicken croquettes at the bar it's a secret ask the bartender if you can get them trust me
  • Romance your companion over a cocktail at this old-fashioned space. Try the Fairbanks (gin, dry vermouth, grenadine and apricot brandy) and enjoy nostalgic dishes like oysters Rockefeller.
  • The beef tartare app and scallops entree were both Amazing!!!!!
  • Expect dishes that evoke cuisine of old Hollywood, like Beef Stroganoff, Oysters Rockefeller and Lobster Thermidor. (Wash 'em down with the traditional Astor Martini.)
  • The drinks alone are well worth the trip out to Queens! Try a glass of the Navy Grog and you just might not want to (or be able to) leave!
