Foursquare Tips

  • Tony Bourdain sampled the Oysters Rockefeller, a dish invented at Antoine's, which is the oldest operating restaurant in the United States.
  • Caf Brulot Is the epitome of this restuarants old-world, over-the-top grandeur. A server ladels flmaing brandy-spiked coffee down a spiral of orange zest into a silver bowl heated by a ring of fire.
  • Avoid going here. While the food may be good, the service is awful; not even close to what it used to be. Just go to Commander's Palace instead.
  • Stay away!
  • Cold food. Not great service
  • We love peering into Antoines wine cavern through its rear window (between 519 and 521 Royal Street).
  • Bourdain sampled their Oysters Rockefeller which was invented here. also oldest operating restaurant in the US
  • Waste of time and money. If you are looking for top notch food, go somewhere else. Anywhere else!
  • Spring and Summer Lunch Special: three courses for $20.11. With $0.25 daily featured martini, not a bad deal!
  • Oysters and banana foster! Nice view of the quarter from the balcony. Had a nice time here.
  • Great food. Decent service. Ran out of bread at 8:30pm on a Monday night. You have to get the Baked Alaska. Make sure you let them know how many people are eating it because they adjust the portions.
  • For a jazz brunch - must see for a historic tour.
  • The oysters Bienville are wonderful amazing delectable!
  • You have to visit this place when in New Orleans...Totally Awesome!
  • Moscow mules!
  • Oysters Rockefeller were not what I expected. Probably not something I would order again.
  • Awesome, must see! Especially if you get the tour!
  • Great food. Make sure Alvin is your waiter, he gives the best tours!
