Hop Hunter IPA from Sierra Nevada drops this week in markets across the country, and it is without a doubt one of the most anticipated new beers of the year. From the moment Sierra Nevada declared that it had developed a method to make fresh hop beer all year long, the hype began. Then Lagunitas sued Sierra Nevada over the Hop Hunter IPA label and really threw it into the lime light. With the lawsuit cleared up and early word of mouth on Hop Hunter being very good, anticipation is running high. Then there was this new animation released today to explain Hop Hunter’s secret ingredient – “Farm Distilled Hop Oil.”

Hop Hunter IPA six packs should be hitting Oregon shelves this week, but there is an official release party in Portland next Thursday.
