Foursquare Tips

  • Take home a wheat baguette, great with everything.
  • Tudo divino, opo de lanches quentes e fcil para pedir, esta tudo exposto no balco, e deixe lugar para o final da fila para um twist, recomendo
  • Followed the instructions on their chalk board outside: turkey basil sandwich with tomato paired with fresh homemade lemonade. I made the right choice. Lemonade isn't too sweet as a plus. Outstanding.
  • Amy's Bread puts its spin on prosciutto bread with its black pepper and prosciutto twists that have great pepper heat and prosciutto flavor.
  • One of New York's best all-around bakeries--from the breads, to the cakes and cookies, to the sandwiches.
  • Best Monkey Cake ever!!!!
  • On our list of the 10 best loaves of bread in NYC, the baguettines are the perfect size for a morning snack!
  • Loved their brownies. Ask for Mama - that's her real birth name!
  • almond brioche toast, sticky bun, olive twist!! so yummy~ :D fantastic bread/pastries
  • Red velvet cake is die for...
  • The potato onion dill loaf is amazing!
  • Get some baguetinnies (ask for some butter too) and get slices of ham or roast beef from Dickson's across the way for an affordable lunch. Enjoy up at High Line.
  • For lunch, we're partial to the pressed sandwiches, like this Grilled New York Cheddar and Tomato sandwich--chipotle pepper pure, ribbons of coriander, and a few slices of red onion.
  • Cheesy biscuits are the best
  • Amazing bakery at amazing prices. Standout items: chocolate sourdough twists, cherry chocolate roll, any of the cookies.
  • Make sure you order at the sign "line begins here". Staff gets disorganized when its busy and the tourists clog up the line looking at the pastry case. Its a bit of a mess but the cupcakes are great.
  • If your here for lunch, order the grilled N.Y. State cheddar cheese sandwich. Best grilled cheese I've ever had.
  • The mocha is soo chocolatey good. Amy's is one of my favorite bakeries and places to go for coffee.
  • Order a Parisian breakfast- you get half a baguette + butter & jam, and a coffee for under $4. If you go early enough the baguette will be fresh out of the oven.
  • the coffee!!! Both regular and iced happen to be some of my favorite coffee in the city. Also, those applesauce donuts are delish!
