the mushroom toast, oh the mushroom toast!!
Recommended sandwiches include the popular duck confit "sloppy joe" with smoked ricotta, roasted garlic crostini, truffle, red wine onions and baby greens.

This place has a menu like you've never seen before! Between the Maple Bacon Popcorn and Vanilla Glazed Carrots, your stomach will be pleasantly surprised and completely satisfied.
Love the beer battered bacon
Hands down best restaurant in LIC. Go for brunch, go for dinner, go for a cocktail. Love.
The most AMAZING burger I've ever had... Battered bacon? YES please! Sloppy joe is ok, popcorn is good to try, bread pudding is good if you catch it made fresh.
Get the popcorn. To die for!
Settle into a gently curved melon-colored booth and get a dark pint of Long Ireland Breakfast Stout on tap.
I love eating at Alobar. It's my go to spot when I'm in a pinch and it never fails. Great food, many drinks to choose from and the ambiance is great to bring a date, loved one or friends.
Pretty decent beer selection, good cocktails, and the best damn burger in LIC.
Carbonara style Mac and cheese is good, but burger is still best. Fluffernutter for dessert is amazing! Beware: induces a food high ;)
Maple glazed bacon popcorn is awesome!
Mushroom toast is delicious. Wait staff was so nice.
Best bloody Mary I've ever had! Yummy food....arugula salad & Mac n cheese
The food I disappointing as well as the service ... We waited forever for our plates to be cleared. I had high hopes for this place... What a let down.
Have the maple and bacon popcorn. I know where I'll be all winter.
GREAT FOOD. really impressed and surprised this place is not a whole lot busier. Excellent service and a really nice, affordable wine select
It is a wonderful place for a breakfast. I love their "Benny" sausage dish. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Well designed space. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
The Alobar was one of the best deserts I've had in ages.
