Ingredients
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 6 ounce tamari soy sauce
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • ¼ fresh jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • ¼ bunch fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • ½ medium avocado, cut into 6 slices
  • 1 5-ounce block sushi-grade saku tuna (about 6 slices)
  • 2 stalks fresh chives
  • 1 ounce wasabi paste
  • 1 ounce fresh ginger, julienned
Directions
  1. Mix the sugar, ginger, soy sauce, lemon juice, cilantro, and jalapeños in a mixing bowl, and set aside for 2 hours before use.
  2. For the tuna stack, set two pieces of avocado at the bottom of the plate then stack 2 pieces of tuna on the top of the avocado. Keep stacking tuna and avocado, and then place some fresh ginger and chives over the top. Use the wasabi paste and the ginger soy sauce for dipping – enjoy!
