7 Ways To Use Leftover Halloween Candy

After a fun night out of trick-or-treating, the inevitable has happened again. It's just like last year; there are mountains of candy piled up by the door — M&M's, Snickers, Kit Kats, Crunch Bars, and Pop Rocks by the boatload. You've eaten your fill, and so has everyone else, so what to do now with all these treats? It would be a shame to throw them out.

You could do what my mother used to do every year; save it all to give away next year come Halloween again. (And she wondered why the house had ant problems.) After all, candy doesn't really go bad, does it?

But that's boring. So we've rounded up some creative ways to use up leftovers of some of the most popular Halloween candies, and we hope you'll enjoy these treats. They should make everyone very happy — save for the dentist.

Here's a fun prank to play. Stick some Hot Tamales in the batter and they'll never know what hit 'em. Of course, these are already pretty hot with the addition of bhut jolokia powder. Just tell them they're regular old brownies. Muahaha.

Grasshopper Pie Ice Cream Recipe

"What, exactly, is grasshopper pie?" you may find yourself asking. It's actually just a fancy name for chocolate mint, but the chocolate comes from brownies, not chips. Top with some M&M's to add some crunch and more chocolatey flavor, or if you're in a zany mood, some Nerds.
