7 Epic Food Fight Videos

Start thinking about food fights and a few epic ones come to mind. That scene in Animal House for one, and of course, there's always La Tomatina, the annual tomato-throwing splatter-fest in Valencia, Spain. But there are some other great displays of epicurean force and Sun Tzu-style culinary battlefield strategizing to be viewed on the Interwebs.

They're not all fights in the strictest sense of the word (in a few the ferocity is more tempered), but overall these competitions are pretty fierce. A reenactment of American-centric warfare starting with World War II, a drive-by food fight, and a down-and-dirty all-out fried-chicken slamming and French fry Gatling battle between icons of the fast food world. And that's just a sampling. Check out the 7 favorite food fight videos below.

Food Fight

This epic short video by Stefan Nadelman started making the rounds in 2008. It's an abridged history of American-centric warfare from WWII to present day, told through the foods of the countries in conflict. The Cold War has to be the best part (cheat sheet here).

Neg's Burger Bowl Off

Turn the volume off if you're at work, and keep in mind that this is kind of just mean, but a drive-by food fight, one-sided though it may be, is still kind of funny. 'WHO-ppah! WHO-ppah! Chicken nugg-et. Nugg-et."

Game Over by PES

Old school video game battle reenactments with food subbing in for obstacles and major characters. The pizza Pac-Man at the end is the best.

Grocery Store Wars

"Not long ago in a supermarket not so far away..." Cuke Skywalker, Obi One Cannoli, Egg Troopers, C3 Peanuts, Ham Solo, all the familiar players, this time attacking a Death-Melon.

Fast Food Icon Street Fighter Death-Match

The original Ronald McDonald vs. Colonel Sanders ended with a result that might please Josh Ozersky (look for Round Two's double drumstick attack, and Round Three's fry-attack and cheeseburger tossing). But would the Colonel be so lucky in the rematch below? (Actually it just gets better and better).

Unbelievable Dinner

"Kyle cooked nothing again!" A fight that starts over a dinner that doesn't exist? Or does it?

Food Fight Japanese Skit

A slow-motion food fight in real-time. And then in reverse?! Genius.
