6 Chocolate Cookie Recipes

What is it about a chocolate cookie that turns even a passive dessert lover into a raging cookie monster? Is it the buttery texture, the silky smooth chocolate morsels, or the inherent fruitiness of the rich chocolate? Whatever the reason, we can all agree that chocolate cookies are delicious — and here a few of our favorite recipes.

Tender and chewy or crispy and crunchy, chocolate cookies are always great for any occasion. And this week, we put the Culinary Content Network and our staff to the test to come up with tasty chocolate cookie recipes. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Christine Ma from Cherry on my Sundae created a Nutella-stuffed browned butter chocolate chip cookie, which nobody can resist. Ma is a member of the Culinary Content Network.
  • Elsa Saatela, the Travel editor at The Daily Meal, shared with us her recipe for pumpkin chocolate chip cookies drizzled in a sweet glaze.
  • The winner this week is Kayla De'Leon from Chick Who Cooks. De'Leon shared with us a recipe for chocolate sandwich cookies with a sweet cream cheese filling. De'Leon is a member of the Culinary Content Network.

All of the recipes featured can be made at home for about $20 or less, excluding the cost of small amounts of basic ingredients such as butter, oil, flour, sugar, salt, and other dried herbs and spices.
