From sun-dried tomatoes to edamame, there are a variety of ingredients that you can add to spice up traditional guacamole. If you prefer the classic, though, we have a simple five-minute recipe and a five-ingredient recipe that will do the trick.

With guacamole as the centerpiece for your party, you'll want to make sure it doesn’t oxidize and turn an unappealing brown color. Be sure to add lemon or lime juice to the guacamole right away to preserve its color. Another tip is to stash the avocado pit at the bottom of the bowl. Also, keep the dip refrigerated and give it a good stir before serving.
