The Daily Meal recently set out to determine America's 101 Best Food Trucks. But now we're looking to discover America's favorite food trucks. The survey is ongoing, but there's not much time left. Monday, Dec. 10, is the last day to vote, and on Wednesday, Dec. 12, we will announce the list for America's Favorite Food Trucks for 2012. Vote on your favorites, write in trucks you think we may have missed, and get the word out to your friends and favorite trucks to do the same.
But wait… there’s more! We really want to know which food trucks you love that didn't make our list or the survey. And because we're so interested to know who you think we’re missing from anywhere and everywhere across the country, we're taking things to the next level..The first 20 readers who comment below to tell us a truck that should have been included in our list but wasn't (after 5 p.m. today) will receive a New York Street Food Amazing New York Food Truck 2013 Calendar — completely free (note: we’ll need to chat with you to get your address in order to send it over).
Also note that we are not oblivious to the irony of gifting a New York calendar as part of a national search. But hey, it's a really cool calendar (check it out here), New York isn’t lacking in great truck food, and it’s all the more reason for you to blow up our feed with who you think needs to be in the spotlight. You think it, we love it.
So, pass on the knowledge, tell your friends, vote on the food trucks, and give us the skinny on those we should take a look at in 2013. We’re in the spirit of giving.
