15 Celebrity Wedding Dinners

Celebrity wedding celebrations are known for their grandeur — whether it's their destination venues or impressive dinner menus that stand out. While wedding cakes are often the focus of the night, many couples plan their evenings around the meal.

In these food-loving weddings, intricate meals are prepared that make the night even more memorable. Some brides and grooms hire chefs from distinguished restaurants, like Suzanne Goin of Los Angeles restaurants A.O.C., Lucques, and Tavern. Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman even hired a different chef to prepare each course for their food-centric wedding reception. And other couples choose culturally significant dishes that reflected their respective heritages, like Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves, who incorporated Brazilian food into their wedding menu.

Eco-friendly parties are all the rage in recent years, and weddings have followed suit. Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman celebrated their nuptials in Big Sur, Calif., where they served a vegan-friendly menu made from locally sourced ingredients. Even Prince Albert of Monaco's wedding dinner kept the environment in mind when he tied the knot with Charlene Wittstock — their chef went as far as to wait until the final moments before guests were served to harvest the menu's vegetables and to catch the fish from the Mediterranean.

Menus at these elaborate affairs are often prepared to go along with the wedding's theme and location. For example, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel offered guests a selection of Italian delicacies that fit right in to their southern Italian wedding with dishes that incorporated the region's ingredients, like fresh-caught fish and vegetables from local producers. And when weddings are held at celebrity homes, the menus don't disappoint, either — it's often an opportunity to spend more on the catering.
