14 Fast-Food Dinner Party Fixes

No matter how many dinner or cocktail parties you have hosted, there may come a time when you need a little help in the kitchen. Say you're throwing a dinner party for 12 and plan to making chicken burritos from scratch. There is rice to cook, chicken to roast, beans to cook, garnishes to prepare... and only then can you roll the burritos. When you're short on both time and space, something has got to give — the chicken. Plus, isn't it just better when it comes from your local rotisserie?

Entertaining guests is stressful enough, so if you can take a load off your back when preparing dinner every once in a while, do it. Maybe that means picking up a bag of McDonald's fries the next time you're making steak frites, or Boston Market's Mac and Cheese to serve with meatloaf. Having friends over for for margaritas after work? Chips and salsa are OK, but throw some of Qdoba's queso into the mix and your get-together just got a whole lot better.

Thanks to our favorite fast-food joints, hosting a dinner party can be easier than it might seem. But the options don't stop at dinner only. Burnt the dessert? Be inspired by your favorite French dessert — profiteroles — and swing by your local Dunkin' Donuts drive-thru for a box of minis. Hosting brunch? Don't forget to pick up a couple of Popeye's biscuits to make egg and cheese biscuit sandwiches — no getting up early to bake required. Because even if you know your way around a kitchen, that doesn't mean you can't use a little assistance every once in a while to create an easy meal.
